Soft Bounce from one photo

Upload one photo. The Soft Bounce template keeps the face and outfit and generates the wave from its own prompt.

What this template is

Soft Bounce is a one-person, one-take clip: the camera stays in one vertical frame, the person waves on a steady beat, and the motion loops cleanly enough to keep playing behind a caption. Nothing in the frame changes except the person, which is why the template only asks for one photo.

The template is built for people who want a clip of themselves moving, not a clip of themselves posing. There is no line to say, no choreography to learn and no second angle to shoot: the template clip already holds the timing, and your photo supplies the face, the hair and the clothes.

It comes in three lengths so the same photo can serve as a two-second hook or a full loop. The short cut exists because most people only need a few seconds of movement under a caption or a comment reply; the long cut exists because other people post the whole clip to a sound.

How the reference clip is used

The model copies the movement and camera work from the template's own clip and swaps in your face. That is why every result keeps the same rhythm as the template, and why you never write a prompt.

What the video looks like

Each pair is one upload: the photo on the left, the clip it turns into on the right.

  • Input: The 6-second hook
    Result
    6 s

    The 6-second hook

One photo, the short cut: the wave reads in a couple of seconds, which is all a caption needs.

  • Input: The 10-second middle cut
    Result
    10 s

    The 10-second middle cut

The same photo at the middle length, with the wave allowed to build and settle once.

  • Input: The full 15 seconds
    Result
    15 s

    The full 15 seconds

The whole clip. The movement gets room to breathe, so it holds up when the sound is the point.

The people in these clips are placeholders made for this demo, not real users.

What you can use it for

  • A profile or cover clip

A short, silent loop of you moving works as a video avatar, a banner or the cover of a highlight.

  • A caption reply

Six seconds of movement is enough to answer a comment with your face instead of an emoji.

  • A trend post with your own face

The motion already sits on the template, so you can post to a sound without filming or learning the routine.

  • A birthday or group-chat drop

Make one for a friend from a photo they already sent you, with their permission, and send the MP4.

Which photos to upload

One photo, and it has a job in the clip:

  1. 1

    You

The only person in the clip. The model takes the face, hair and outfit from this photo and puts them on the body that moves in the template clip.

  • One person, facing the camera, head and shoulders in frame with a little room above the hair.
  • Even light on the face. Daylight from a window or a soft lamp is enough; hard shadows from an overhead light are not.
  • A photo taken in the outfit you want to see in the video. The model keeps the clothes from the photo, so a going-out top stays a going-out top.
  • Hair down, or however you normally wear it. The template does not add accessories that are not in the photo.
  • Group photos. A second face gives the model a choice it should not have to make.
  • Sunglasses and face masks, which hide the features the model copies from frame to frame.
  • Heavy beauty filters, which smooth away the face shape and make the result look like a different person.
  • Screenshots of a photo, or a photo that is already cropped at the chin. Send the original file.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Add your photo

One person, facing the camera, head and shoulders in frame.

  2. 2

    Pick a length

6, 10 or 15 seconds. The button shows the credit cost before you spend anything.

  3. 3

    Download

The MP4 lands in My videos. Failed renders return the credits.

How the clip plays out

The clip runs 6 to 15 seconds, and the template fixes the camera and the pacing; you only swap in the person.

The clip is one continuous shot with no cuts. What changes over its length is the energy: it opens on a held pose, the wave builds through the middle, and the last second settles so the loop does not jump. The template clip decides the exact timing and camera; this is the shape of that timing, not a shot list.

Lengths and credits

LengthCreditsGood for
6 s6A quick hook or a caption loop. Cheapest to render.
10 s10A middle length for a story post or a short Reel.
15 s15The full clip. Use it when the sound is the point.
1 photo720p9:16From 6 credits

You pay per render, not per download. The shortest cut starts at 6 credits, and a longer clip costs more because the model is billed by the second. The Generate button shows the exact number before anything is spent. If a render fails, the credits come back to your balance automatically; if a finished clip is clearly broken, contact support with the video ID and we review it.

The prompt behind this template

Replace the person in @Video1 with @Element1, keeping the exact same movement, camera path and lighting. The person performs a soft, bouncy wave dance in one continuous vertical shot. Keep their face, hair and outfit exactly as in the photo. Steady beat, no text, no watermark.

This wording is fixed on the template. You never have to write it yourself.

When it comes out wrong

ProblemFix
The face does not look like the photoUse a sharper, front-facing photo with even light. Filters and screenshots are the usual cause.
The clothes changedThe model reads the outfit from the photo. A photo where the clothes are clear, not hidden by a coat or a crop, holds up better.
Extra people appearUpload a photo with one person in it. Anyone in the background can get picked up.
The loop jumpsPick a shorter length; the last second has less room to settle on the long cut.
The render was refusedSome photos are rejected by the safety check. The credits are refunded; try another photo.

Posting it

  • Keep the caption short and put the joke or the point in the first line, because the clip has no dialogue.
  • The audio is not part of the render: add a sound in TikTok, Reels or Shorts so the timing lands on the beat.
  • Keep the AI label on. The platform may also label it for you, and the terms ask you to say the video is AI-generated.
  • Download before the retention window closes; finished videos are deleted after the retention period shown in your account.

Questions about this template

How many photos does Soft Bounce need?

One. It is a one-person template: the clip has a single body in frame, so a second photo would have nowhere to go. If you want two people, use the Neon Shuffle template.

How long does the video take to render?

Usually a few minutes. You can close the page: finished videos wait in My videos, and a failed render returns its credits.

Does the video have sound?

No. The render comes back silent, so you add a sound when you post it. That is also why the clip is cut to loop cleanly: the beat comes from whatever sound you pick.

Can I use a photo of someone else?

Only with their permission, and never a photo of a child, a celebrity or a public figure. The consent box at checkout is there to confirm this.

Can I pick a different dance or camera angle?

Not on this template. The motion, the camera and the prompt are fixed, which is what keeps the result consistent. Other templates have other motion; the template list is the place to look.

What do I get at the end?

A vertical 9:16 MP4 with no watermark, ready for TikTok, Reels or Shorts, plus a copy in My videos until it expires.
